This storage jar has ambitiously designed ornament consisting of slip-trailed cobalt blue in a lively series of flowers on the front and back as well as a double meander just beneath the rim. The crisp trails of blue form a lively contrast to the bright gray background.
MARKS: Stamped “B.C. Milburn, Alex” on the front below rim

The vessel survives in good condition with expected wear. Several notable chip underside on one handle and a number of microscopic hairline cracks but appears completely stable and it has never been re-glued.
